Walk on Wales has been organised so that anyone who wants to participate can join in. From young to old, able-bodied or disabled there will be a stage of the walk that is accessible to you.
If you look on the Walk section of the website and click on any stage of the Walk, you will find a detailed breakdown of each day of each stage, with a fully interactive map, which shows the level of difficulty for both distance and ascent. You should be careful to select a day or stage that is commensurate with your level of physical ability.
Once you have decided when you want to join in please complete the online form below and we will be in touch with you as soon as we can.
Sponsorship
We hope that everyone who joins in will get sponsorship from their friends and families to help us reach our fundraising target.
The sponsorship form can now be downloaded by clicking here. On the matter of sponsorship, we have set a very aspirational target of £1 million, which is a huge sum of money! This can be broken down into a more manageable sum, for example:
If 4,000 people walk a day and raise £250 (ie £10 from 25 friends and family) we will raise £1 million.
Alternatively, if one million people give £1 we will have reached our target! There is no mandatory sum to raise in sponsorship, we just want everyone to come along and have a really good time with us as we step out along the beautiful Welsh Coast Path, to remember those who have died while serving their country and to raise as much as we can for Combat Stress and the Welsh Guards Afghanistan Appeal. Whatever you can raise will be much appreciated, but the most important thing is to get as many walkers as we can taking part in the Walk.
We very much look forward to seeing you on the Walk.
